Featured Art in the Cottage
We collaborate with local artists, many of whom are our friends, to fill the cottage with their beautiful work. From our camp, it is an absolute win-win: the artists share their work, you get to enjoy original pieces you may not see otherwise, and we end up supporting our region even more through these connections (also, in the world of fast prints, and fake art, real beauty is human artistry).

Marek Herburt
Marek Herburt is a South Australian artist who came to Australia from Poland in the 1980s. At the time, Marek was totally fascinated with the influence of light over colour and form. In recent years Marek has developed a colour technique that brings a different perspective to Australian landscapes.
“My recent works demonstrate a deep fascination with Australian flora and landscape. In a semi-abstracted, impressionistic style and a vibrant palette, I try to capture the intense and enduring harshness of the Australian countryside, while at the same time depicting the energy, life and beauty that landscape evokes.”
